Parental/Guardian Permission Template
For any candidate aged 16 or 17 taking the Cambridge English Skills Test General or Business you must gain parental/guardian consent for the taking of the Test Day Photo and screen recordings with the AI invigilation service.
The Test Day Photo, screen grabs and recordings are for the purposes of security, transparency and assessment integrity. This information is gathered by Talview, our Invigilation service partner, in order for us to ensure assessment integrity.
Where a parent or guardian is unwilling to give permission for the candidate to have a test day photo taken or for the use of AI invigilation service, then the candidate must not be allowed to sit the test.
You can use the Parental/ Guardian Permission template attached. Completed forms need to be retained by the Institution or Client of the Institution until the candidate turns 18, plus an additional 6 months in case of any queries or concerns.
